Who We Are

Founder: Tracy Grider

Tracy Grider is a lifelong outdoorsman with over 30
years experience in hunting, fishing, camping,
tracking. He was a guide for local deer hunters by
the age of 15 and was taught the tools needed for
tracking and following white tail deer by a man with
over 60 years in deer hunting.

Tracy has a long family history of hunters, it is how
his family survived and how they fed their families
for hundreds of years. Tracy is committed to the
education of young outdoorsman in the heritage of
hunting and fishing as well as the safety and the
proper ethics that make up what a hunter truly is.
His commitment to his beliefs and his love for the
great outdoors are unmatched by his dedication for
self improvement through living and learning

Chris Stewart Pro Staff

Chris Stewart has been a long time friend and
outdoor enthusiast, Chris is equally dedicated to the
legacy his family passed on to him in the great
outdoors. Chris is an avid bowhunter and firearms
hunter and enthusiast and is always striving for
greater knowledge in both areas. Chris shares a
love for hunting whitetail deer, squirrel, rabbit, not to
mention his new found love for bass fishing. Chris
has always been a panfish and catfish enthusiast.

Chris is also a Pro Staffer and Field Staff member ,
his field testing abilities are Greatly appreciated.

Bill  Ashcraft

Bill Ashcraft is a life long outdoorsman, with over 30
years in hunting and fishing and enjoying the
outdoors. Billy and I grew up together in Plainfield,
Indiana we shared very fond memories and he has
always been like a brother to me.

He is an avid bowhunter and firearms hunter and
loves turkey hunting and deer hunting, his years of
experience and quality level as an outdoorsman will
be a welcome addition to the Hoosier Outdoorsman.

Mark Frantz  Pro Staff

Mark Frantz 39 Memphis Indiana a Avid Bow Hunter
and only hunt with a Bow , Ive been bow hunting for
over 25 years , I love the thrill and rush of fair chase
and getting up close and personal with the game , I
Moved here From Pocono Mountain Pennsylvania in
2006 , Where i Hunted about everything i do here
with the exception of Black Bear . I'm a Diesel and
Heavy Equiptment mechanic And have a small Bow
Shop HOOSIER DADDY ARCHERY where i build
custom bows , repair and tune , String
replacements and build custom arrows . I'm proud
to be a staff member for Hoosieroutdoorsman and
GS Custom Calls , It will be the Last Call they here .
Phil Austin   Pro Staff
Phil Austin is welcomed as the newest Pro Staff for
the Hoosier Outdoorsman and GS Custom Calls
Phil is from Floyd Knobs in southern Indiana and
is a lifelong hunter, fisherman and all around
outdoorsman. Phil gets to take hunting trips all
over in pursuit of big game, he has taken white tail
deer,moose,elk,and is currently in Canada on a
bear hunt and we are looking forward to hearing
the details and and pictures. He is a devoted father
and husband and always encludes his family
when ever possible. We are proud to have a
person like phil as part of our little family .

Delbert Smith  Pro Staff
Delbert is from Ramsey,IN  He is married to
his lovely wife Angie and they have 3 sons
Nathan, Jared,Corey. Delbert is an avid
bowhunter and muzzle loader hunter and
he shares his love for the outdoors and
hunting with his sons.  He hunts Indiana as
well as Kentucky to take advantage of the
early bow season for whitetail, he has many
great success`s and eagerly awaits the
coming of fall.

Shane Dixon    PRO STAFF
Shane hails from Clayton,In and has been an
avid outdoorsman for 20 years and loves
hunting all kinds of species including
Deer,Turkey,Ducks,Geese as well as small
game. Shane has a daughter Morgan 6 yrs old
that loves spending the early fall days with her
daddy in the tree stand helping to bag a big un
like the one pictured here. Shane also is an avid
fisherman and loves spending time on the
water with Morgan going after bass and panfish.
